Leather Craftsmen released a book theme plug-in to Apple's Aperture 3. Available as a free download to all Leather Craftsmen customers, the three book theme sizes 10x10, 14x11, and 8x12 provide an integrated album design solution for creating square, horizontal and vertical albums.

Start designing today. Leather Craftsmen's registered users can download our free book theme plug-in to Apple's Aperture 3. Note: Install Aperture 3.0 first, then install our Book Theme Templates. (NOTE: The installer link can be found at the bottom of this article. You must log in first.)

There are 100 templates and 20 free backgrounds in each theme. You'll breeze thru your album design with both single sides and double page spreads available on command without ever leaving Aperture.

The book theme templates are designed to flow into the Leather Craftsmen 3500 Flush album series. Once you've completed your design, simple click on the SEND BOOK button and you'll be directed to upload your design straight to Leather Craftsmen for print and bind. After the files are uploaded, you'll be led to an easy to complete online order form. Click the submit order form button and we'll take it from there.

What does it look like?
The Companion Album is available in four album styles, the 3500, 300-Hingeless, 8500 and 800. You can expect the same great quality. The only visible difference is the cover material. Our test marketing revealed that Black with be the #1 seller. It looks awesome.

What sizes does it come in?
We’ve got solutions that satisfy. The 3500 & 300 Hingeless styles are available in 8 sizes, 6x6, 6x8, 8x6, 8x8, 6x9, 9x6, 7x5.5, and 5.5x7. The 800 style (square hingeless matted album) is available in two sizes, 4x6/5x7 (7x7) and 6x8/8x8 (8x8). The 8500 (square hinged matted album) is available in two sizes as well, the 7x7 and 8x8. Please keep in mind that Flush Mounted albums (3500 & 300 Hingeless) are named by the size of prints we start with and Matted albums (800 & 8500) are named by the size of the largest print it holds with a matte around it. Therefore, a matted 8x8 is bigger than a flush 8x8.

What colors are available in the non-leather Roma cover material?
Roma Black, Roma Chocolate, Roma Dark Gray, Roma Pearl, Roma Port.

What is the new Roma cover material?
Roma is a manmade product. It’s a blend of 55% Cotton and 45% Polyurethane.
